    POMEROY–Ballots will mail Friday, October 20, 2023 for the Garfield County, State of Washington, General Election on November 7, 2023. Ballots may be returned by mail or in-person and postmarked or deposited no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day.     CLARKSTON–A 46-year-old Pomeroy man was fatally injured in a two-vehicle accident on SR 12 near Chief Timothy Park July 19. Jeremiah J. Hessling, 46, was pronounced deceased at the scene, five miles west of Clarkston, according to the Washington State Patrol.
