    POMEROY–A special meeting to discuss the amount of the special levy that the GCHD will run in April, 2020, was held at the Pomeroy Senior Center by the Garfield County Hospital District (GCHD) Tuesday, December 17.     Gary R. McClanahan June 18, 1955 -November 26, 2019 Gary Robert McClanahan died November 26, 2019, after suffering a stroke. Gary was born to Bob and Barbara Huffman McClanahan in Spokane, Wash. on June 18, 1955. The family moved to Pomeroy in 1960. He attended Pomeroy schools, graduating in 1973. He moved to Spokane later and worked various jobs, retiring early after becoming disabled.
