POMEROY–The Garfield County Public Health District board passed two resolutions, designated term dates for the board members, and discussed Foundation of Public Health Services (FPHS) funds at their meeting on January 17. Resolution 2023-01 amended the consolidated contract the District holds with the Washington State Department of Health, increasing the total amount of funds to $2,175,800. The Pomeroy Jr. High girl’s volleyball team took two matches this week, defeating All Saints on January 23 at home and then traveling to Colfax on January 26.
