    POMEROY–The Port of Garfield County commissioners discussed a delay in the Pataha fiber internet project, an expense authorization, and a wage increase at their meeting on February 7. A meter on the fiber project that needs to be inspected by Pacific Power & Light has caused a delay. The project is now expected to be operational by the end of February.     POMEROY–The Garfield County Board of Commissioners (BOCC) accepted an Emergency Management grant, discussed further opioid settlements, and discussed the Rapid Design Study at their meeting on February 13. The Emergency Management Performance Grant E23-187, an annual grant from the Washington State Emergency Management that provides funding for emergency manager wages, equipment, and emergency planning for the county.     POMEROY–The Garfield County Hospital District Board of Commissioners reapproved the reappointment of Josh Mayfield, discussed the vaccine schedule at the Pomeroy Medical Clinic, and approved a resolution to surplus IV pumps at their meeting on February 6. Josh Mayfield has been reappointed as a provider for the Garfield County Memorial Hospital, upon the recommendation of the medical staff.
