POMEROY–The City Council was informed several community entities were working on a letter to Governor Inslee regarding moving the county into Phase 2 of the Washington State Toad Map to Recovery and the status of counties in southeastern Washington. POMEROY–Elements of weather once again hampered Pomeroy Gun Club members in week six of the Camas Prairie Trap Shooting competition. This time it was extreme cold and falling snow that was the culprit. The Junior Shooters shot in heavy snow on Saturday and Levi Bowen led the 12 and under youngsters with a 17 in the 16 yd. competition while Braxton McKeirnan shot a 16.
