POMEROY–Severe winds during the seventh week of Camas Prairie competition plagued Pomeroy Gun Club members once again. Garfield County Fire District No. 1 responded to a report of a barn fire at 410 Emerson Road at 2:43 on Friday, February 16, discovering that a livestock barn at the Robert and Ruth Yutzy place was burning and already on the ground, said Fire Chief James Cleveland. Ten Years Ago March 5, 2014 Volunteers from Holy Rosary Catholic Church's parish removed pews from the church Sunday morning in preparation for taking up the old carpeting.
