    POMEROY–The Pomeroy City Council accepted the resignation of Susie Bowles, authorized a grant application, and discussed tree removal at their meeting on May 9. Susie Bowles resigned as City Councilwoman, effective May 12. Her position will be on the next ballot to fill out the remaining time of her term.
