    POMEROY–The annual Fourth of July Golf Tournament is planned at Crystal Springs Course Thursday, July 4 at 10 a.m. The 18-hole, three format tournament fundraiser of two players in the men, women, and mixed teams will begin at 10 a.m. Prizes are awarded for patriotic attire, cart decoration, matching team, long drive, long putt, KP, and much more.     POMEROY–The Garfield County Board of Commissioners (BOCC) discussed fireworks, accepted a hay bid, and approved purchase of a door at their meeting on June 24. The Landkammer firework show will be held on July 5, at the Garfield County Fairgrounds, despite the grandstand renovation. “We don’t have bleachers out there yet,” Commissioner Justin Dixon said.     The Pomeroy FFA Alumni sponsored 11 local FFA members and one "Rando" to travel to College Station, Tex., for the Texas A&M Livestock Judging Camp.
