    GARFIELD COUNTY–Motorcyclist, Michael C. Mingin, 69, of Keizer, Ore., dies in a one vehicle, Highway 12 collision Friday evening, June 24, 2022 at approximately 6:52 p.m. The Washington State Patrol reported that Mingin was travelling westbound of Highway 12, at milepost 418, about 14 miles east of Pomeroy, while riding his motorcycle, he changed lanes and left the roadway on the right.     POMEROY-Bicycle Rides Northwest, a nonprofit bike tour organization, brought hundreds of bikers to Pomeroy on June 23. The bikers spent the night in tents set up on the Lybecker football field, and BRNW set up 'camp central' in the Pomeroy City Park.     POMEROY–The Garfield County board of commissioners (BOCC) discussed rental of the fairgrounds and potential acquisition of land by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife at their meeting on June 21.     POMEROY–The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office, Lewiston SWAT, and Quad City Task Force, in a joint effort, arrested three suspects on a search warrant June 23, 2022.     POMEROY–The Garfield County Health District board signed a contract and discussed automated external defibrillators in the county at their meeting on June 27. Resolution 2022-13 was a contract with Washington State Health Care Authority for ABCDental and data sharing from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.     NEZ PERCE–Four members of Pomeroy Gun Club Steve and Holly Ledgerwood, Jim Adams, and Larry Bunch, participated in the Nez Perce Idaho Father’s Day shoot June 18–19, bringing home some trophies. The Club threw 200 singles targets and Holly Ledgerwood broke a pair of 92s and her score of 184 was good enough for High Lady honors on Saturday.
