    POMEROY–The Pomeroy City Council discussed dangerous dog policies and enforcement; closure of the Municipal Pool on the 4th of July; and the chip seal work being done on Pomeroy streets at their meeting on July 11. Several complaints of dogs killing livestock and domestic animals have been addressed.     POMEROY–The Garfield County Hospital District board of commissioners approved leasing new automated drug dispensers, and discussed patient visitation policy and bidding on the hospital electrical project at their meeting on July 10. The automated drug dispensers currently used at the Garfield County Memorial Hospital will become obsolete in 2025.     POMEROY–The Garfield County Fire District No. 1 Commissioners introduced a new part-time emergency medical technician and discussed replacing the Medic 30 ambulance at their meeting on July 11. Andy Reggiero-Smith was certified as an EMT in 2016 and has served as a volunteer with the City of Clarkston Fire Department, as well as contracted EMT work for Clearwater Mill.     POMEROY–Pomeroy Gun Club members Steve and Holly Jo Ledgerwood and Larry Bunch shot at the Western Zone shoot in Colton July 14-16 and brought home some trophies provided by the Colton Club. The Western Zone shoot involves 11 Western clubs from various states and Canadian provinces.
