    CLARKSTON–A 46-year-old Pomeroy man was fatally injured in a two-vehicle accident on SR 12 near Chief Timothy Park July 19. Jeremiah J. Hessling, 46, was pronounced deceased at the scene, five miles west of Clarkston, according to the Washington State Patrol. Hessling was westbound on a 1992 Honda ST1100 motorcycle when, in the process of passing a commercial motor vehicle, his vehicle collided with an eastbound 2020 Toyote driven by Jamie M. The couple pictured are George Edgar Clayton and Zelpha Mae Foster, married July 20, 1898 in Pomeroy, according to Landkammer. Clayton was born January 3, 1875 and died January 19, 1045 in Clarkston.     POMEROY-The Port of Garfield County commissioners approved a water leak repair, budgeting for re-staining, and discussed use of the cement slab left from the demolition of warehouse three at their meeting on August 3. The commissioners authorized emergency repair for a slow water leak on Port property, not to exceed $7,000. The expected cost of the repair is around $5,000.
