POMEROY–The Pataha Flour Mill held their 26th annual Hometown Revival Sing on August 27. The program consisted of gospel songs and hymns from local and out-of-town talent, along with prayers for healing and salvation. According to art group presidents Mary Flerchinger, "We have new steam punk from Paula Lahti, new fabric art from Jen Witted and a fabulous collection of water colors from Shirley Erlandsen of Spokane Valley. DAYTON–Organ donation is a gift of life for the giver and the receiver, and here locally, Lisa Naylor is in need of a new kidney. Naylor recently spoke to the Walla Walla Valley Quilters Guild at their spring potluck about needing a kidney transplant. The news was well received, spurring an organ donor to speak up about organ donation.
