POMEROY–The Garfield County Fire District board of commissioners (GCFD) announced the reception of a grant and change of backup engine according to the minutes of their September 13 meeting. The Fire District received an Assistance to Firefighter Grant for $147,619, which requires a $7,381 match from the district.
