    POMEROY–The Pomeroy Pony Punchers held its season finale play day at the Garfield County Fairgrounds rodeo arena on October 8. The day started with a costume contest that featured the return of the Lone Ranger and Tonto, Batman, Dolly Parton, Ken and Barbie, a pirate, and Cruella de Vil, among others.     POMEROY-The Garfield County Hospital District Board of Commissioners approved the reappointment of Inland Imaging, announced the breaking of ground on the electrical project, and discussed a bake sale that will be held at the Garfield County Memorial Hospital, at their meeting on October 2. Ground was broken on Phase One of the electrical project. Work will continue in earnest after a construction boundary has been agreed upon with Washington State officials.
