    POMEROY–The Pomeroy FFA Chapter will receive an $80,000 CASE (Curriculum for Agriculture Science Education) Capital Equipment Grant, which will be shared by both agricultural programs, announced local School District Superintendent Rachel Gwinn this week.     POMEROY–The Garfield County Public Health District Board discussed the Second Harvest schedule, fiber internet repairs, and passed two resolutions at their meeting on November 20.     POMEROY–The Pomeroy City Council passed the 2024 property tax levy certification and resolution, recognized volunteers at the Crystal Springs Golf Course, and granted relief for a water overage charge at their meeting on November 20.     POMEROY–The Spinners Santa's Mailbox is now open at the Pomeroy Pharmacy and the Elementary School office until noon December 22, 2023. Children can mail their letters or wish lists to Santa using the special boxes located at the Pomeroy Pharmacy, 764 Main St., or the Pomeroy Elementary School office at 121 S. 10th Street.
