    POMEROY–Santa truly came to town, rolling down Main Street in the Garfield County Fire District No. 1 Engine 10 during the Starlight Christmas parade held November 24. Pomeroy natives Ray and Wendi Watson realized that working remotely during Covid-19 shutdowns meant they could come home to their roots.     POMEROY–The Garfield County Board of Commissioners (BOCC) announced an awarded grant, approved an agreement, and discussed exempting agriculture buildings from permits at their meeting on November 27. A Washington State Fairground Improvement grant was awarded for replacing the grandstands at the Garfield County Fairgrounds.
