    POMEROY–The Port of Garfield County commissioners approved a quote for duct cleaning, a change to the insurance policy, and discussed a fiber point-of-presence tenant at their meeting on September 20. The Port’s insurance policy, through the state entity pool Enduris, was updated to include $165,000 coverage for the Port fiber network. The annual fee will increase by $775.     POMEROY–The Garfield County Fire District board of commissioners (GCFD) announced the reception of a grant and change of backup engine according to the minutes of their September 13 meeting. The Fire District received an Assistance to Firefighter Grant for $147,619, which requires a $7,381 match from the district.
