    OLYMPIA–The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) has issued an update on how to connect with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (NSPL) by using 988. The DOH advises as of July 16, 2022, a person may call, text or chat 988 to be connected to the NSPL. It will be confidential, free and available twenty-four hours every day of the week, year around.
