Jason George Kuhn died in Yakima Wash., at the age of 83 on June 9, 2022. Jason was born on October 18, 1938 in Pomeroy Wash. He graduated from Pomeroy High School in 1956 and went on to attend Washington State University where he graduated in 1962 with a B.S. in Soils Mechanics/Geology. POMEROY–The Farmer's Market held in Pomeroy City Park held their first gathering of the summer on June 8. Booths sold fruit and vegetables-both produce and plants, handcrafted goods, and pies. The pies sold out before the evening was over. "It was really a great turnout for our first one. We're excited for it to grow." said Shelly Slaybaugh, the manager for the Market.
