Woody, 88, passed peacefully from this world Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, at Prestige Care and Rehabilitation Center in Clarkston with two daughters and a granddaughter by his side. POMEROY–Local FFA members attended FFA Land Evaluation Career Development events held nearby this fall, which lead up to the State contest November 3. POMEROY–The Annual Sausage Shoot is back on Sunday, December 12, after a one-year hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic. Trap shooting events and winter league are rapidly approaching, and with the return of the Annual Sausage Shoot, a major fundraising event for the Pomeroy Gun Club, we will be needing all the help we can muster to have a successful shoot.
