    POMEROY–The Garfield County Transportation Authority (CTA) introduced their newly hired operational manager and decided to surplus a 2015 Ford van at their meeting on September 18. The CTA has hired Callie Carnahan as the new operational manager, following an application and interview process. The 2015 Ford Transit van E507 will be listed to a government surplus website.     POMEROY––A lightning storm that rumbled over the Tucannon Valley Thursday, September 7 sparked a wildfire in the vicinity of the Tucannon Hatchery and Cummins Creek the next day.
