POMEROY–The Garfield County Transportation Authority (CTA) board changed a position from an hourly to a salaried pay schedule, and received updates on ongoing projects at their meeting on December 19. The pay schedule for the position of Operations Manager was changed from hourly to salaried, meaning that pay for the number of hours scheduled between paydays will be averaged so that the amount will be consistent between paychecks. POMEROY–Brad Gingerich celebrated his retirement on December 15, at the Pomeroy Pharmacy, where he has worked for more than 45 years. The celebration was small and consisted mostly of regular customers and friends who stopped in for a brief moment to congratulate the couple.
