    POMEROY–The Port of Garfield County commissioners announced that they have been awarded a Federal Public Works grant at their meeting on December 7. The grant is for $3,800,000 with no match required from the Port, and will be used for the Northeast Garfield County fiber project.     POMEROY–The Pomeroy School District (PSD) board of directors approved Resolution 306 and the hiring of Brock Ledgerwood, reinstatement of Ben Slaybaugh and the resignation of Jan Koller at their meeting on November 30.     POMEROY–The Port of Garfield County board of commissioners accepted the ZeroDB bid for design work on the Pataha fiber project at their meeting on November 2. The company was the only bidder and the accepted bid was for $30,000 flat fee, with subsequent work not to exceed $10,000.
