COLFAX–Pirates Sidney Bales and Katie Boyer are pole vaulting well, both athletes taking first in the event at meets last week, the MacDougall Invitational here April 22 and at a NE 2B meet in Clarkston on April 18. POMEROY–The 2023 League Season concluded for the Pomeroy Gun Club (PGC) on Sunday March 26 with an annual day of shooting games, potluck and barbecue, and the annual business meeting with election of officers. POMEROY–The final week of the Camas Prairie Trapshooting competition greeted Pomeroy Gun Club shooters with bright sunlight on the first day of daylight savings and a stiff east breeze.
