POMEROY–The Pirate Cross Country team of Samuel Lamb and Cash Copher will give 1B/2B Regionals this Saturday their best shot when the race begins at 12:45 p.m. The two Pirate runners qualified for the Regional meet at last week's league championships in Pomoery. Lamb and Copher have been consistent this season and usually finish close to one another in the 24-minute range. Pomeroy Pirate JH Football team started off the season with a loss to DeSales 26-32 on September 13. The game was played with no special teams as DeSales does not play special teams at the Junior High level.
