CORVALLIS, ORE.–The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) named 2019 Pomeroy graduate Deana Caruso one of Lewis Clark State College's selections to First-Team, All-Conference for Women's Golf last week. POMEROY–Local High School senior Emma Severs signed a letter of intent to play for the Community Colleges of Spokane (CCS) Sasquatch during the school's morning assembly on April 21. Evan Thomas was one of the few athletes that placed in four separate events at a recent junior high meet. POMEROY––The hard-hitting Pirates clinched the top spot in the league with wins over Touchet and Colton, including a seventh-inning rally to sweep the Wildcats. Junior High Boys hoops ended its shortened season with a loss for the varsity, a win for the jayvees and a loss for the C Squad against Garfield-Palouse on April 1, reports Coach Bob Wolf.
