POMEROY–The 2nd Annual Night Golf Scramble is held at the local golf course on August 29. POMEROY–The WIAA Executive Board voted to allow some alternate seasons for sports based on the Safe Start Phase protocols and new season descriptions recently. POMEROY–Several local Gun Club members participated in the Western Zone Shoot this past weekend at Colton Gun Club. Shooters who competed with one another in Colton also competed with shooters at 13 other Clubs throughout the Western United States and two Canadian Provinces. POMEROY–Several members of Pomeroy Gun Club ventured to Troy-Deary Gun Club over the Fourth of July Weekend for their annual shoot and managed to shoot some good scores while maintaining Social Distancing. On Saturday, Holly Ledgerwood lead the local contingent with a 97 x 100 in the singles event that won her the Lady II Trophy. IDAHO–Culdesac Gun Club in Idaho held its Registered Trap Shoot over the May 30-31 weekend and Robert Koller posted some very respectable scores over the two days. On Saturday Koller posted a 46 X 50 in Singles and a 47 X 50 in Handicap. His 47 tied him with Bruce Bradley of Orofino Gun Club for runner-up honors over the entire field of shooters. POMEROY–The final week of the Camas Prairie shoot is in the books. It was announced today that next week’s shoot in Walla Walla has been cancelled/postponed. We are sorry to report that in addition to the Walla Walla shoot being canceled, the Pomeroy Gun Club will also have to cancel the annual meeting and potluck originally scheduled for March 29.
