    POMEROY––Pirate pole vaulters led the team with firsts in both the men's and women's competition at a Southeast 1B Track and Field meet here Tuesday, April 9. Pirates Levi Bowen and Carmen Fruh both topped the pole vault competition, Bowen clearing 11-6 against SJEL's David Logen with 8-0, and Fruh atop a field of eight with an 8-6 effort.     POMEROY––A seven-way meet opened the 2024 season here with the Gar-Pal women at the top of the heap and the Asotin men in first place.     CLARKSTON–Pirate golfer Reggie Ott Jr. finished in the top 10 of a field of almost 70 golfers here March 26.     POMEROY––The Lady Pirates broke two tie scores and jumped ahead of the Prairie Pirates with six runs in the fifth inning, winning their first game of the 2024 campaign 18-14 at home March 20.
