Middle School Girls B-ball

POMEROY–The Middle School Girls basketball team lost to Colton in the A Squad game 35-25, and lost 34-17 in the B Squad game.

“This was an exciting game to coach,” said Co-Coach Jessica Wolf. “The girls came out ready to play. Colton is a tough opponent and these girls left everything on the floor. We are proud of how they played tonight.”

Cassidy Bales scored 10, Izzy Field 6, Taylor Gilbert 4 and Kristen Bartles 3.

“We are very proud of the effort that the B team has been putting forth,” said Jennifer Maves, Co-Coach. They are a very inexperienced team but play with heart!  Improvements are being made every game.”

Scoring was Allyson Shaffer 6, Ellie Potoshnik 4, Olivia Cooper 4, Lilly Quarles 2 and Sadie Klaveano 2.
