POMEROY–The final outcome of the 2019 volleyball season depends upon how the Lady Pirates do against Prescott this week.
With a win, Pomeroy finishes the 1B Southeast campaign in first place. In that case, the Lady Pirates will be League Champions and will host both days of the District Tournaments, according to Athletic Director Toddette McGreevy.
With the win over the Tigers, “on Wednesday, November 6, Pomeroy would host No. 4 St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse at 6 p.m.,” McGreevy said. “Then on Saturday, November 9, they would host the rest of the tournament where four teams will be competing for District 9’s two berths to State, to be played November 14 and 15 at the Yakima Sun Dome.”
With a loss Tuesday versus Prescott, McGreevy said the Lady Pirates would be in the No. 2 spot and would host No. 3 Colton on Wednesday, November 6, at 6 p.m., and then they would travel to Oakesdale for the Saturday matches of the District Tournament.
