It's a Sausage, it's a Turkey, Shoot

POMEROY–The annual Sausage Shoot is planned at the Pomeroy Gun Club on December 6-8. The Gun Club is looking for as many members who are able to help get the grounds cleaned up and make preparations for the Sausage/Turkey shoot. Clean-up will begin Sunday, December 1 at 9 a.m.

Then, on Friday December 6 at 7 a.m., club members will gather for sausage making. This is a big job and the Sausage Shoot is the major fundraiser for the Club, so all members are encouraged to participate. Wrapping the Sausage and general cleanup will take place on Saturday December 7 at 8 a.m.

The shoot consists of Rifle events such as three shot groups, running Deer, and offhand shooting which begins at 8 a.m. There will be Trap shooting events including singles, Buddy Shoots, and Annie Oakley’s. For non-shooters, there will be indoor games.
