Letter to the Editor

To the editor,

I was pleased to see my Letter to the Editor regarding the local hospital, but was not so happy about the obvious lack of proof-reading by the Edub. I pulled up a copy of my letter, and found several errors on your part, not mine. The errors tended to make me look somewhat stupid.

The errors were:

paragraph 4, first sentence-should have read, “I have closely followed the struggles of Garfield…” you added an additional “…of the struggles”

last paragraph “Wat to go Pomeroy…” should have read “Way to go Pomeroy”

paragraph 4, you wrote “…transport and car at the hospital.” Should have “care” and not car.

The above errors were not in my original letter to you, I checked.

I love the Edub and what you guys are doing with the paper. Being a past journalism major, the proofreading errors bugged me and tended to make me look stupid.

Having said all this, great paper. Keep up the good work.

Editor’s Note: My apologies for the errors created in your letter to the editor. It was not intentional nor meant to make you look stupid. As you know, being a journalist yourself, after reading and writing for 20-hours, words melt into each other.
