Bikes for Books winners

POMEROY–The Evening Star Lodge No. 30 Steve Kazda, Secretary and Ron Kessler presented two Bikes for Books awards to fifth grader Vinny Vecchio and first grader Emmerson Taylor.

Vecchio and Emmerson were the winners of the Bikes for Books sponsored by the Evening Star Lodge No. 30. Pomeroy Elementary students who reached a goal of 100 minutes of reading in a week can then submit an entry for the drawing.

To keep kids reading and achieving, the organization sponsor two drawings each year. Steve Kazda, Secretary, and Ron Kessler were in attendance to honor the students.
