POMEROY–Bank of Eastern Washington (BEW) is collecting school supplies for local elementary students here and at four other Washington branches. These supplies will be distributed to local schools.
“Students need supplies, whether they are at school or studying from home,” says Becky Kindle, Chief Banking Officer. “We welcome you to join with your local branch and celebrate the spirit of your hometown: bring your school supply donations to any branch.”
Each branch will hold a drawing on August 26 for several backpacks filled with supplies for a local student. Community members with a grade school students are encouraged enter the drawing. If your branch lobby is temporarily closed, you can access the drawing through the drive-through window.
You do not have to be a Bank of Eastern Washington customer to donate supplies, due by Aug. 26, or enter the drawing and no purchase is necessary. BEW branches in Washington are located in Colfax, Dayton, LaCrosse, Pasco, and here.
