POMEROY–Natalie Fuchs, 15 in September and a local high school student, cuts and donates 12 inches of her hair to an organization "Wigs for Kids.
It seems teenagers are often portrayed as being wrapped up in themselves and not giving a thought about others. This is an example of just the opposite.
A few weeks ago, Fuchs had 12 inches of her hair cut off and donated to an organization called, "Wigs for Kids." She had wanted to do this for some time and was just waiting for her hair to be long enough to qualify for the donation has a positive outlook about the process, saying, "It's just hair. It'll grow back."
Although Fuchs chose to do this on her own, she will earn a Girl Scout badge for the donation.
