Clarification

POMEROY–In the East Washingtonian September 3, 2020 edition, reporting on the August 24, 2020 Garfield County Commissions meeting, Commissioner Wynne McCabe’s comments made in the meeting were paraphrased as: “Commissioner Wynne McCabe considers overnight camping could encourage outside visitors which could lead to shopping in town.” To clarify, McCabe was not encouraging camping, partying or fraternizing of any sort during the 2020 Garfield County Fair.
