POMEROY–Wednesday, November 11, is a day in which the nation honors United States veterans, and the East Washingtonian joins the nation and community in that.
Because federal and state offices will be closed in observance of Veterans Day, and because Wednesday is the day of the week the East Washingtonian is usually delivered to the U.S. Postal Service, next week’s East Washingtonian, dated November 12, will be mailed on that date. Subscribers should expect to receive their newspaper on Friday, November 13.
The following week, mailing will return to the usual Wednesday, with distribution by mail carriers, on Thursday.
Readers who purchase their East Washingtonian at one of our many vendors, may look for the paper at around 1 p.m. Thursday, November 12.
Vendors include the Pomeroy Pharmacy, Pomeroy Pit Stop, Tonia’s Café, Four Star Supply, Pomeroy Foods and at the East Washingtonian at 742 Main Street.
