POMEROY–About forty people gathered around the flagpole on the courthouse lawn at noon in observance of the nationwide National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 6. Entities which affect life in our country were prayed for by representatives from Garfield County’s churches. These things include the family, the church, schools and education, the military, the media, arts and entertainment, government and the workplace.
