Jr. High Track

Pomeroy’s Junior High Track team competed May 6 on the home field.

The boys who placed among the top 8 finishers were:

Tyler Matheny- 1st in the 75-meter dash (10.24), 2nd in the 100 (13.11), 2nd in high jump (4’4”), and 3rd in pole vault (7’).

Boone Schmidt- 1st in the 200 (24.61), 2nd in the 400 (1:06), and 5th in long jump (12’8”).

Braxton Mckiernan- 2nd in pole vault (8’), 7th in the 400 (1:14), and tied for 7th in high jump (3’8”).

Evan Thomas- 4th in the 100 hurdles (21.90), tied for 4th in high jump (3’10”), and tied for 7th in high jump (5’).

Cayle Mullins- 6th in the 100 hurdles (31.40).

Greg Weatherspoon- 8th in discus (59’7”).

Michael Thorson- tied for 7th in high jump (3’8”) and tied for 7th in pole vault (5’).

Matthew Lamb- 6th in pole vault (5’6”).

Robby Van Vogt- 7th in triple jump (21’10.5”).

Michealle DeBord- tied for 1st in pole vault (5’6”), 7th in the 100 (15.31), and 4th in the 200 (33.77).

Carmen Fruh- tied for 1st in pole vault (5’6”) and tied for 7th in high jump (3’6”).
