Fun in the Sun/Wonderful Wood Show with grand opening

POMEROY–The Blue Mountain Artisan Guild invites the public to a “Grand Opening” affair christening the new expansion to the gallery on 745 Main Street with a reception scheduled for July 22 at 5-7 p.m. In addition, sponsors of all medias Roger and Laurel King, and wood craft sponsors Wynne and Kim McCabe welcome the public to view the works of “Fun in the Sun/Wonderful Wood Show” featured artists Doug Roe, adult division, and jr. artist Elizabeth Ruchert. All art on display now through the end of August.

The BMAG has recently completed renovations to the structure next door, doubling the floor space expanding the opportunity to offer art classes and include more art and craft products to the space. Now, such exhibits as a large wood table made by Mike Wolf and greater number of arts, pottery and craft students can accommodate the area. “We are looking forward to bringing in new area artists to the gallery as well as being able to offer larger classes,” said BMAC volunteer Kris Klaveano.
