LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

To the editor,

Being new to Pomeroy and being new to small-town life has been an education for me. The lack of stores and opportunities for socialization has me thinking about what I can do to improve my new home town. I have been surprised at the lack of support for our own businesses. No matter where I’v lived, I tried to use the local business. If we don’t use them, we will lose them. LC valley is great, but not convenient often. I was sad to see The Palace closing and fear we will see more of our businesses having to close when we do not support them.
