Keller Associates receives street lighting project contract

POMEROY–The City Council awarded the contract for Complete Streets Project engineering to Keller Associates at their meeting on November 22. Stillman Norton, project manager for Keller Associates, attended the meeting by phone to answer the council’s questions about the company’s experience with lighting projects.

The street lighting project is funded by a Transportation Improvement Board grant of $180,000. The deadline for use of the funds is March 31, 2022. There is no option for extending the date.

A surveyor will be on the site for the booster pump project and the plans are expected to be ready for construction by the end of June, 2022.

The meeting was not adjourned, and will continue on November 29.
