POMEROY–The Pomeroy School District (PSD) board of directors approved Resolution 306 and the hiring of Brock Ledgerwood, reinstatement of Ben Slaybaugh and the resignation of Jan Koller at their meeting on November 30.
Resolution 306 increases the levy amount to be collected in 2022 to $843,420. The Harold and Helen Shepherd Foundation awarded PSD a grant amounting to $67,720.
The board also approved the hiring of Ledgerwood as Assistant Junior High Boys Basketball Coach, as well as the reinstatement of Slaybaugh as High School Wrestling Coach. They also accepted the resignation of Koller as a Title One Paraprofessional. The position she is leaving will not be opened for hiring until the One-on-one Paraprofessional position is filled.
PSD will engage in holiday activities for staff and students, including door decorating contests and dress up days.
