PASCO–Pirate golfer Chase Caruso led all women golfers at a match on the Sun Willows links here Wednesday, April 13.
Caruso’s 90 was the best among women golfers from 12 schools competing in the match, said Head Coach Al Damron. “I thought we did really well in the very cold conditions,” Damron said.
Pirate golfers have a busy month and a half ahead of them with several schedule changes.
Pomeroy Golf compted last Tuesday at Walla Walla’s Veteran’s Memorial (results to appear next week). They travel to Wine Valley in Walla Walla for a match on April 27. The merry month of May gets underway with Sub-District at Walla Walla’s Veteran’s course. District follows at Red Wolf in Clarkston on Monday, May 16, first flights teeing off at 10 a.m.
At Sun Willows on April 13, golfer Kiersten Bartels shot a 119.
For the boys, Reggie Ott carded 102 for 16th place and Jett Slusser shot a 106. Brady Bott and Grayson Slaybaugh both came in at 116.
