County Commissioners approve loan to County Road Fund

POMEROY-The Garfield County Commissioners (BOCC) called a special meeting on May 24 to discuss a loan from the County’s current expense fund to the County Road fund.

The board approved a $1,200,000 loan to cover costs rising from the Upper Deadman road project until reimbursement from the Washington State grant that is funding the project. The loan will be repaid without interest by June 24.
