The Farmer's Market

POMEROY–The Farmer's Market held in Pomeroy City Park held their first gathering of the summer on June 8. Booths sold fruit and vegetables-both produce and plants, handcrafted goods, and pies. The pies sold out before the evening was over. "It was really a great turnout for our first one. We're excited for it to grow." said Shelly Slaybaugh, the manager for the Market. The Farmer's Market will be held on second and fourth Wednesdays, from 4:00 to 7:00, throughout the summer.
