NEZ PERCE–Four members of Pomeroy Gun Club Steve and Holly Ledgerwood, Jim Adams, and Larry Bunch, participated in the Nez Perce Idaho Father’s Day shoot June 18–19, bringing home some trophies.
The Club threw 200 singles targets and Holly Ledgerwood broke a pair of 92s and her score of 184 was good enough for High Lady honors on Saturday. Jim Adams broke a 98 and 95 for a score of 193; also broke a 91 in Handicap on Saturday.
Adams broke a 99 in singles and Larry Bunch shot a 98 in the 100-target event on Sunday. Adams tied for Champion but did not win the shoot off. He had a 93 in Handicap and Bunch shot an 86.
In Doubles, Adams posted a respectable 90. His combined scores over the two days won him the High Overall Trophy for the two days.
Next major shoot in the area will be the Troy-Deary shoot over the Fourth of July weekend.
