POMEROY–The Garfield County Health District board signed a contract and discussed automated external defibrillators in the county at their meeting on June 27.
Resolution 2022-13 was a contract with Washington State Health Care Authority for ABCDental and data sharing from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023. The contract will provide the Health District with $26,354 to service Garfield and Asotin counties.
Administrator Martha Lanman approached the board with a request for nine AEDs to be placed in county-related building throughout the community. The cost for each is estimated at $1,400, or $12,600 total. Lanman requested American Rescue Plan Act funds to cover it.
