Congratulations to two June Bikes for Books winners Dutch Jones and Aurora Reed. The two students were presented with a bike each by Steve Kazda who represents the sponsor Evening Star Lodge.
POMEROY–Evening Star Lodge No. 30 representative Steve Kazada awards two bikes for the June Bikes for Books program winners Dutch Jones and Aurora Reed.
Students Dutch Jones, a fourth grader and the son of Cody and Missy Jones; and Aurora Reed, a kindergartener and the daughter of Jason Reed and Brandee Terlson, were the recipients of a bike each for completing 100 minutes reading required to enter the drawing in the Bikes for Books program.
Students who complete the required reading minutes are entered into the drawing each week. Then, twice a year, two names are pulled from the lot. A total of four bikes are given to participating stuedents each year.
This program is sponsored by Evening Star Lodge and awarded by representative Steve Kazda.
