Fireworks show delivers fun and spectacle at Fairgrounds

POMEROY-The Alvin Landkammer Fireworks show was presented at the Garfield County Fairgrounds last week on Tuesday, July 5.

Community members gathered at the Garfield County Fairgrounds to watch the Alvin Landkammer Fireworks show the day after the traditional Fourth of July observance. Fireworks was not the only spectacular event of the evening, before the first rocket was lit, an announcement was made of two scholarship recipients Kyler Denny and Jordan Tucker.

The show lasted an hour and a half and was fantastic. Fountain and aerial fireworks alternated, and concussion blasts from the aerials rocked the canyon.
